This service is a free website that allows you to search routes for public transportation, such as trains and buses, within Japan.
This is an incredibly useful tool for those traveling around Japan by train or bus, so make sure to take advantage of it!

1. Applications of Route Search


This section introduces features that can enhance your use of "Ekispert for Web"

① Search for First and Last Trains

By selecting "First train" when searching, you can find the earliest available trains or buses.
Conversely, selecting "Last train" allows you to search for the last trains or buses of the day.

② Reverse Departure and Arrival Locations

With the click of button②, you can easily switch the departure location (From) and the destination (To).
This feature is particularly useful when you want to search for routes returning from the destination back to the starting point.

③ Search Routes with Transit Points

By clicking the ③ button, you can set up to two transit points between your departure location (From) and destination (To). See diagram ③A below.
This feature is especially useful when you want to search for routes that pass through multiple destinations

④ Retrieve Previously Set Locations

By clicking the History button (④), you can quickly recall and input place names that you have searched for in the past.
When the History button is pressed, a list of previously searched location candidates will appear, as shown in diagram ④A.

⑤ Search the Same Route from History

In diagram ⑤, you can see your search history, which displays previous route searches.
This feature is useful for quickly retrieving and re-searching routes that you’ve looked up before.

2. View the Route Map


By clicking on the Route Map button (⑤), you can access a detailed map of train and bus routes.
This feature is particularly useful for visualizing the locations between stations across Tokyo and the rest of Japan.

You can also utilize the features in diagram ⑤A to zoom in and out on the route map, as well as search for specific locations.
